This version has a white mixed bean pattern which gives you the wide angle of a flood beam and a focused beam for greater depth/distance. In addition, this headlamp has red, green & blue light settings. We're not sure how much use the coloured lights would be backstage but we understand that the red light is good for maintaining night vision, red & green don't spook deer and blue is great for cutting through fog and detecting blood.................
